Megan Torok is a Georgia native and as a first generation attorney she is passionate about helping people navigate the cumberson criminal justice system.
Megan specializes in representing individuals facing criminal charges. With a strong background in trial advocacy and case investigation, Megan is dedicated to providing clients with thorough and strategic legal representation through every stage of the legal process—from pre-trial motions to post-conviction appeals.
A graduate of Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law in Davie, Florida, Megan earned a Juris Doctorate in May 2019, graduating magna cum laude. Megan earned her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University in 2015.
Prior to opening MM Criminal Defense, Megan honed her legal skills through a variety of roles in the prosecution sector. Megan has litigated thousands of criminal cases including murder, rape, arson, drug trafficking, child molestation, vehicular homicide and DUI.
Outside of her professional work, Megan is committed to giving back to the community. Megan currently serves as a board member for Putting Girls First, an organization dedicated to empowering young women by providing them with basic necessities to achieve their goals.
